A Summit Created With our Communities in Mind

DiD-139_websize.jpg

The POCLWD Summit was created by Diversity in Diabetes to center the voices, experiences, and needs of people of color living with diabetes.

Diabetes is experienced differently across cultures, communities, and families. Access to care, food, technology, finances, language, stigma, representation, and cultural traditions can all shape someone’s diabetes journey.

The POCLWD Summit creates space for those experiences while connecting our community with practical education, diverse resources, and people working to make diabetes care more equitable and inclusive.
