Biography

I am a licensed therapist, a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, and I have lived with T1D for 30+ years. I offer a kind of hybrid psychotherapy service that bridges emotional counseling with diabetes education and behavioral coaching. Living with diabetes goes beyond just numbers and we must find the balance between our physical and emotional needs in managing diabetes. When I'm not at work, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our 3 children.
