Biography
Danielle Batiste is a passionate diabetes advocate, entrepreneur, and Army veteran living with type 2 diabetes. Diagnosed in 2013, she went from denial to empowerment and turned her personal journey into a mission to help others manage diabetes with confidence, clarity, and compassion.
Danielle is the founder of Diabetes Made Better, a lifestyle brand that offers tools, coaching, and content for diabetics—including planners, activity books, and motivational resources. She’s also developing innovative projects like Glossive, a diabetic-friendly lip gloss line, and Range & Rhythm, a fitness apparel brand with a diabetic twist.
By combining her lived experience with her role as a Medical Support Assistant at the VA Hospital, Danielle offers real-world support that bridges the gap between healthcare and everyday life—especially in underserved and veteran communities.
She was recently featured in Diabetes Health magazine for her unique and relatable approach to diabetes education. Through her coaching, digital products, and online presence, Danielle continues to inspire thousands to live with diabetes, not for it.
