Biography
I have been living with T1D for over 36 years and have turned my personal experience into my passion to help teens, youth, and families navigate the emotional ups and downs of daily life with T1D. I specialize in family dynamics, anxiety, communication and boundaries post diagnosis through transitioning towards independence. I am heavily involved in the broader diabetes community through diabetes camps, Breakthrough T1D, and work alongside Gary Scheiner's team as a mental health clinician with Integrated Diabetes Services.
